SOUTH BEACH, MIAMI | 2017

LE Miami brings travel industry leaders from around the world together for a week of parties, meetings, and events at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Optical Animal was commissioned by LE to design a series of immersive volumetric light sculptures to illuminate the cavernous venue for the week-long conference.

The massive sculptures incorporated over 450’ of scaffolding, six mapped projectors, and over 400 custom LED fixtures - all programmed in concert with generative visuals and live-updated information displays. The sculptures were set to change over time, displaying a different aesthetic for each new day of the week.
