Optical Animal installed a projection mapping system for the set of a Paypal commercial, blending the outputs from multiple projectors to compose a seamless ultra-wide illuminated background. We mesh-warped the image to compensate for the curved cyclorama so that the visuals were undistorted from the camera’s perspective. Our operators worked with the director of photography to cue the background visuals perfectly during each take.
