Optical Animal was brought on to the production of an episode of HBO’s Succession to design and install wall-to-wall scenic and ambient projection art, bringing a far-out and futuristic touch to the episode's expansive underground nightclub scene.

Over 32x projectors were installed and operated simultaneously throughout the location, with original projection-mapped visuals covering the walls of virtually every room of the scene. Our video designers worked closely with the director, cinematographer, and production design team to create a cohesive aesthetic and to ensure continuity throughout the space, especially during long tracking shots. Additional smaller projectors were also placed into many shots to create motivated lighting effects and to fill out the episode with beams of moving light.
