TRANSFORMERS
NEW YORK, NEW YORK | 2015

Optical Animal worked with Transformers: Age Of Extinction and the Branded Entertainment Network, a liscensing agency founded by Bill Gates, to highlight their successful collaboration and partnership within the 7-film franchise. BEN had brokered the initial deal to bring the film's iconic Chevy Camaro into the series in a meaningful way, through the hero character of Bumblebee.

For our part, we designed and built a 20' 3D projection mapping sculpture, used as a means to deconstruct and reintrepret the film in a captivating way. The design was intended to reflect BEN's mission and vision for the future of advertising, which suggests that traditional modes of advertising must undergo an evolution as means for survival, one where brands and placements are built directly into the fabric of the stories themselves.
