Jotun Istanbul

Istanbul, Turkey | 2012

Optical Animal traveled to Istanbul for a party thrown by the paint manufacturing company, Jotun Turkey. We projection mapped a wall of individually rotating panels, with each panel representing a single “pixel.” We animated a collection of 8-bit pixel inspired visuals to project onto the sculpture. During a stage presentation, the individual pixels were rotated around one by one and illuminated with projection until all of them faced the audience to display various 8-bit animated visuals and cartoon characters.
